The Original 7
The Rajahz were formed during the later half of 2005. Currently the team roster consists of 7 core players, with 2 other available when asked, and two in development. The total roster consists of 11 players. Click on any players name to view their profile.
PG-Franklin
Franklins unique style of play consists of a variety of spin moves, hesitations, and an explosive first step. Tends to shine in Rec basketball situations.
PG-Freddy
Prototypical point guard, pass-first mentality, although very capable scorer. When focused he becomes an excellent defender also.
SG-Abin
Considered as a defensive specialist, takes advantage of quick feet and strength to virtually shut down any guard. Also, has a great long-range jumper.
SG-Alan
Offensive superstar, impressive scoring ability, and his length allows for strong rebounding.
SF-Shawn
Great shooter, deep downtown range, steps up big time in tournament situations. A primetime player.
PF-Justin
The Franchise player, dominate rebounder, strong defensive forward, and incredible speed with the ball. Fills up the stat charts.
C-Sam
Banger down low, boxes out, sets screens, hussles, capable of holding his own in the post. Personality-wise, he is also quick to speak whats on his mind.
On-Call Players
The following players are not on the active roster. Meaning they are not "regulars" at weekly practices, but are easily available when needed.
SG/SF- Andy
Recently developed a slick crossover move, which is effective in creating space for his jumpshot. A great shooter and being tall enables him to shoot over the top of others.
PF/C- Sam C.
At roughly 6'1"/6'2" this man is incredible. Capable of playing all 5 positions: he passes, shoots, and dribbles good enough for a guard. His wide frame combined with his lethal spin move makes him highly effective in the low post.
Development
Practice with the Rajahz, but are not neccessarily tournament bound players, at least for now.
SG/SF- Ashish
A raw but talented player, good shooter....
PF/C- Alvin
A raw, undeveloped player, with the frame and body of a true post-up center.
Honorary Players
Close friends of the Rajahz and are vetern players who are not Rajahz, but have played as one.... and plan to in the future
